Ascension Fight Series Rules
All Ascension Fight Series bouts are sanctioned and regulated in Victoria under the Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Act 1985 and the Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Regulations 2018 to:
- Promote safety
- Reduce the risk of malpractice
- Uphold industry integrity
Amateurs competing on Ascension Fight Series are required to be registered as professional athletes who are competing under an amateur ruleset. All states do this and fighters only need to be up to date with their local state authority, with the exception of NSW (different registrations apply).
A link to the Victorian rules are below. We require all fighters and coaches to be familiar with them, as professional and amateur rule sets differ significantly.
